Born in Kewanee, Illinois, in 1944, Mr. Hatcher attended The Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut, and the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating in 1968. He worked in production management for the John. H. Harland Company for ten years then attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, graduating in 1981.
Mr. Hatcher joined Anderson, Walker and Reichert, LLP, in 1981. His areas of practice include creditor representation in all chapters of bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, contract negotiations, business sales and acquisitions, construction law and probate. He is a member of the Georgia State Bar and the Macon Bar Association.
Mr. Hatcher has served on the boards of Volunteer Macon, Macon Heritage Foundation, Hay House and the Macon Arts Alliance. He currently serves on the Board of the Museum of Arts & Sciences and the Board of Visitors for the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business at Mercer University.
Members of Christ Episcopal Church, Mr. Hatcher and his wife Joan have two sons and two grandsons and one granddaughter.
